Our client needs a dynamic Data Strategist to drive their analytics and machine learning initiatives. As the Lead Strategist you will Architect innovative data solutions combining SAP, Python, NLP, ML and text analytics technologies. Develop collaborative partnerships to understand diverse business needs and design impactful data strategies. Mentor a high-performing analytics team and cultivate a culture of continuous learning. Lead high-value proof-of-concept projects extracting insights from ERP, spatial and other data streams. Represent our client globally to deliver strategic vision and ensure organizational alignment

Responsibilities
  • Translate problems into specific analytical questions and form hypotheses that can be answered with available data using statistical methods
  • Perform hands-on data analyses and modeling to develop insights and recommendations for SAP data models and predictive solutions
  • Discover new use cases for applied data science and machine learning opportunities by exploring open source data sources
  • Delivers insights via ad hoc reporting, dashboards, structured analysis or custom apps based on R-Shiny
  • Prototype design, development of data warehouse models for consolidation of information sources
  • Effectively plans and collaborates with team members on data-driven projects
  • Collaborate with other development teams and product management specialists
  • Explore and build and use of new web scraping modules for Text Analytics
  • Explore and build new data pipelines for new data sources
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages and techniques – Python, R, JAVA, JS, NodeJS
  • Experience building interactive data visualizations using tools such as Tableau, R Shiny, Plotly, Dash
  • Knowledge and experience applying various machine learning techniques classification, regression, NLP
  • Experience in exploratory data analysis and modeling using Python pandas, numpy, sklearn, R or SAS
  • Foundational understanding of data warehousing concepts, design, modeling and data engineering
  • DevOps mindset, knowledge of deployment lifecycle and microservice architecture
  • Strong SQL skills for complex querying, analysis, and performance optimization
  • Understanding machine learning key parameters that affect their performance
  • Practical experience using tools such as Github, Jupyter Notebook and Jira
  • Ability to work independently, initiate and drive work to conclusion
  • Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent autodidactic experience
  • Experience working with large scale ERP such as Oracle or SAP
  • Fluency in German is a must, fluency in English is preferred
  • Team player with good communication and analytical skills
