Our client is looking for a visionary BI Architect to lead the development of analytics and reporting solutions on their SAP landscapes.

You’re a strategic thinker passionate about deriving intelligence from large, complex data. As an experienced SAP consultant, you enjoy tackling difficult data challenges and bringing clarity to complex issues. In this role, you’ll own major projects from concept to delivery and influence the direction of our client’s BI Roadmap. You’ll also have opportunities to stay on the cutting edge of emerging analytics technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Experience with configuration, population and management of all BW Infoproviders in BWonHANA and BW/4HANA
  • BW extraction and loading of SAP ECC or S/4HANA and non-SAP data sources through end-to-end data flows
  • Development and documentation of functional and technical design documents for BW and HANA object types
  • Modelling & Development in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP Datasphere (DWC)
  • Modelling & Development of HANA-based, virtual BW Objects, Composite Providers, Calculation Views
  • Modelling & Development of BEx Queries for Reporting and Analysis for Office solutions
  • Developing of Process Chain configuration and operational troubleshooting
  • Generation of downstream exports through BW’s native Open Hub capabilities
  • Modelling & Development of DWF Data Warehouse Foundation models
  • Development of BW and HANA Roles and Authorizations
  • Working in HANA Studio and SAP WebIDE
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent background in finance/economics or IT
  • Overall IT Expertise of 5+ years and minimum 2 years of project experience in SAP BWonHANA or BW/4HANA
  • Minimum of two end-to-end BWonHANA or BW/4HANA implementations, including hands-on design and configuration
  • Experience with bug-fix and debugging, functionality modifications and resolution of performance improvement
  • Functional knowledge in subject areas General ledger G/L, Finance and Controlling FI/CO, Asset Accounting
  • Experience in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP Datasphere (DWC)
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Strong SQL skills for complex querying, analysis, and performance optimization
  • Functional/technical proficiency with full lifecycle SAP implementations
  • Fluency in German is a must, fluency in English is preferred
  • Team player with good communication and analytical skills
  • Practice of ABAP Objects development
